This document explains how Dahlia responds to valid legal requests from law enforcement agencies and authorized government authorities.
2. Legal Requests
We may accept the following types of legal requests:
- Court orders
- Search warrants
- Subpoenas
- Other lawful requests with proper legal basis
3. Required Information
Legal requests should include:
- Agency name and contact information
- Valid legal documentation (warrant, court order, or subpoena)
- Specific account identifiers or user information requested
- Description of the data requested
- Legal basis for the request
4. Review Process
All legal requests are reviewed by our legal team to verify their validity and scope before any information is disclosed. We may reject requests that are overly broad, lack proper legal basis, or do not comply with applicable law.
5. Emergency Requests
In cases involving imminent risk of serious harm to a person, we may respond to emergency requests from law enforcement before receiving formal legal documentation. Emergency requests should be directed to our legal contact.
6. User Privacy
Dahlia is committed to protecting user privacy. We disclose user information only when legally required and in accordance with applicable laws. Users will be notified of requests when permitted by law.
